eE+E wants to sensitize for environmental risks, wants to point out connections, interactions and contradictions between land use, constructions and the environment. eE+E makes contributions for avoidance or reduction of environmental impacts caused by human activities in the field of water and ecology. eE+E is researching and teaching in the fields of:

  • human affected ecosystems, forecast of environmental effects
  • environmental and regional to local planning
  • integrated water resources management in urban and rural areas
  • environmental impacts and risks of constructions (buildings, harbours, shore protec-tion, waste deposits, highways, mining etc.)
  • life cycle assessments of constructions, products, etc.
  • application of geographic information systems (spatial analyses, mapping, visualization etc.) and numerical simulations (surface water, groundwater, wetlands etc.)

eE+E is working on Research+Development, Expertises, Planning and Teaching. eE+E is closely collaborating with Resource.ful GmbH (www.resource-ful.de). Current examples of our research activities are:
